[OST]: Endless Love ~ Summer Scents

Friday, April 30, 2010

Last time, I have presented to you the two stories from the Endless Love Collection and here I give you the third story of the collection, Summer Scent. Frankly saying, the series is unlikely like the other two which have given me deeper impression of the drama but the story was good. Although the male protagonist here is just the same in the first Autumn In My Heart series, I guess it never really did give me the impact I was expecting but nonetheless, as expected from the Collection, the soundtrack is a different thing and is a sure thing to look up to because it's a whole new breeze of instrumental music.

Summer Scent: Original Soundtrack (OST) [Ponycanyon Korea 2010]
I wouldn't make this post long so enjoy listening to some of the soundtracks!

Mysterious As It Sounds...

Thursday, April 29, 2010

Captivated as to how the sound will allow me to listen to from hearing its beginning had caught my ears to attention. It's sensual, relaxing but has a mystery accompanying it plus it's elegant and charming giving you a pleasant mood.

This piece, Kimi ga Yobu Namae by Makoto Yoshimori is actually a soundtrack from an anime I watched early this year, entitled Natsume Yuujinchou, it's the main theme song of the anime series.

I'm always glad watching Anime (though people always tells me that it's childish) because I not only enjoy watching it but I also love listening to its soundtracks, it is one of my selfish pleasure I can't deny & because of it I get to discover great music and artist that I usually don't know. Anyway, I'll keep my words brief, I hope you like it also. Enjoy!

Drizzle to the White Legislation

Tuesday, April 27, 2010

Here's another track from the soundtrack movie Secret.

It's quite obvious that I like the music, so there's no question in that, tehehe (smile). What do you think of the music? This has actually have another version in orchestra accompaniment but I thought that this one would be better to post, it's quite bias but I like how this sound though, somehow gives me a thought of a sad reconciliation or so I think it is. How the violin was being played was very gentle yet sad but nonetheless it's a beautiful piece.

Hiromi Haneda | Two Much When You... (~ZARD Piano Classics~)

Saturday, April 24, 2010

And again, I've encountered another great artist yesterday as I was doing my routine browsing and I'm very glad to discover someone like her. Meet Hata Hiromi or very known as Hiromi Haneda, a pianist & radio commentor. Already familiar with classical music, she begun playing at a young age of four & had also won numerous competitions since then. Her inspirations in music were both Chopin and Andre Gagnon. After graduating music at Osaka College of Piano Music, she began to start her career in music and as well with other fields. But her fame began to increase when she appeared in a tribute concert for ZARD, a famous lyric-singer in Japan that had also won many great awards, as a pianist at 2008. Since then, she had played covers from ZARD music albums that become her debut in the Music scene.

Nonetheless, I think that she is really good...I haven't really heard any song from ZARD nor know any of her songs but at to what I hear from listening to the cover Hiromi played, it's doubtless that this is a real good music to listen to. Hiromi Haneda indeed played the music well and I'm very glad to have been able to found such great music.

Here is an album of her cover of ZARD, Two Much When You... It's really a lovely album with great music & piano style. Hope you love it!

Get your dream
Wait for the summer sails

Intro: New Age Music

Friday, April 23, 2010

You may or may have not recognized this but I might as well give you a proper introduction to it now. So regarding with most of my post here, you might have noticed that some are classical music, some are instrumental version of some songs, and also soundtracks of some movies, series, & anime that I have love and watched before but some also are music from various new & old artists we have now in our generation. They may play the classic tunes of Mozart, Chopin, Schubert but this people have their own music too that now we fairly know as New Age Music.

So what is New Age Music? Well, if your knowledge about music was only mediocre like mine before (ahem...lol), well, you'll probably wouldn't really know what it is…you might get the first impression that it was like something from Classical, but hey it's not! I get that impression also at first but upon indulging myself more to this new world of music and also had done some research, I'm quite fond now with the difference…

Based on wikipedia, "New Age music is music of various styles intended to create artistic inspirationrelaxation, and optimism. It has chants and this mystery to the tone. It is used by listeners for yogamassagemeditation, and reading as a method of stress management or to create a peaceful atmosphere in their home or other environments, and is often associated with environmentalism and New Age Sprirituality". I personally agree with the inspiring and relaxing part of it because that is what I have really love about this genre. So in other words, the music itself doesn't really focuses only on the classic musical instruments but also electronic variations, music system modifications but also the use of traditional musical instruments can be used for the production of this new kind of music.

It's quite obvious that these New genre speaks for itself because music in this time are not categorized anymore as classical but the new age form of music. For me, the very first New Age artist I know was Yiruma, I was in love with his Kiss the Rain, 27 May, & Chaccone, followed then by Tor + Saksit Vejsupaporn, Yuki Kajiura, Yuriko Nakamura, Acoustic Café, Ryu and many more artist that I hope to know more about. This is a very exciting thing for me to discover now so I hope you'll enjoy my future post from now on (^_________^).

Crescendo

Thursday, April 22, 2010
In music, this word is defined as the gradual increase of loudness but to me, I define it as main theme song of one of my favorite musical anime, La Corda 'd Oro. Well, if you are not that familiar with the anime nor the manga, click me!
[(snort) What a lousy way to give my introduction.]
Anyway, Good day everyone!
Now, if your asking as to what this music is really is, it's actually just a instrumental version of the real song but since it's not in my line to feature medias here that are not really at the terms I have given when I started this blog and I hate to be inconsistent about it also so I have presented to you guys this instrumental version, hmmn, no offense with the artist but I like more this one than the song itself.

La Corda D'oro Primo Passo Class

Ever since I've started watching this anime two years ago, I have love classical music more that I have ever been then.  I fairly love all the classical tracklist soundtrack of the anime itself but also it's theme songs of it also but when I search back again to download some files, I never thought to find the violin & piano version of it and I immediately thought of sharing it to you guys. For those who loves piano & violin combo, you might be able to appreciate this one as good since I also think the same way, somehow, the title justify itself. The melody gives you the feeling of ambivalence yet they harmonized with one another, and I personally love how the music sound at the beginning. So much more with what I think, I hope you listen to it also...let me know what you think of it! Enjoy!

FlameHeart | 상처 지을 수 없다

Saturday, April 17, 2010

Now I have someone new to introduce you guys and then again it was my friend Gitak who introduce this lad to me first. Meet FlameHeart also known as Sinjuku Hanabi, his  nickname in Japan, I actually don't know what his real name is but people gave him that name because according to him, his music is like a fire (hanabi) burning in peoples heart which he rather mean that his music brings enthusiast listeners to listen for more or that's what my friend told me. He is actually somewhat like an idol in the internet in Korea. Things I only know about him is that  he was studying music in Japan...in his later stay there, people have called him "legend" nonetheless he was mostly regarded as a musical genius among his age and had been offered by many people in Japan but he roughly refused it all or so what I have read in a forum about him but I tell you this guy is really a genius, I don't really know what the truth is because I'm really having a problem finding his biography and all plus his personal blog & everything about him is in Korean which I barely understand at all.

Now here is a music from him entitled Violet Purple Girl. The first time I heard this music, I already feel in love with it that gives me without a doubt that this artist well soon to be more famous. I'm sorry this is the only song I think I can let you guys listen to because all his albums are purchased in the internet and it's quite expensive but still I'm glad that I was able to introduce you guys this person. Hope you like it!

Dream At The Sea

Friday, April 9, 2010

I want to share to you guys one of the piece that I really love from my favorite shounen anime, One Piece. Though I know that the quality is really bad I want to say sorry about that because I really can't find the full soundtrack version of the song but I hope you like it as much as I like it also because this very song has a sentimental effect on me though I don't know why but I really like it.

Well, one thing about this song is that it's about friendship. On one of the episode, Brook, the anime character played this song for his former companions that eventually died leaving him alone being an immortal because of eating the cursed fruit but after many years he had found again new friends who had accepted him whole heartedly, though his already a leaving skeleton. I mean not just all the humor & funny scenes in the anime that got me captivated by it but also how they portray true loyal friendship. I guess you wouldn't get what I'm babbling about, you might want to try watching the anime itself so anyway, I hope you enjoy this song!
