Between Fate & Love

Saturday, July 31, 2010

"I can not break your feelings for her. I understand that but there is something I have realized you know...my meeting with you was no coincidence, its more than that... I know you had decided to protect her over me, she was after all your first love...but even though I know that I want  to stay with you...just to stay with you is what I only wish for."

This was a line uttered by Kagome, I know, it's heart aching line but I truly admire that unselfish feelings she has for him. Recently, I've been watching an Anime that I first seen 8 years ago, I was still an elementary kid back then but I have truly love 'InuYasha' and his adventures with Kagome even now, it's one of my favorite Animes of all time, so I downloaded the series from the very beginning and with the soundtrack also. I hope you will love this featured track from the soundtrack...it was the actual background music while Kagome was saying those words, somehow I have felt the same feelings as she have just listening to it, I don't know if you understand that. Hahaha...I really am a total Anime-freak here but I hope you love the music. Good day!=)

Beethoven's Love Song

Tuesday, July 27, 2010

"I love you as you love me,
in the evening and the morning,
nor was there a day when you and I
did not share our troubles.
And when we shared them they became easier to bear;
you comforted me in my distress, and I wept in your laments.
Therefore, may God's blessing be upon you,
You, my life's joy,
God protect you, keep you for m
and protect and keep us both."

'Ich liebe dich'

This is the english translation of the lyrics of this song that I've recently been in love with, it's one of Beethoven's love song entitled 'Ich liebe dich', performed by Lim Hyung Joo. Such sweet and heartwarming love song it is, somehow, it made me feel jealous as to whom Beethoven address this song to. Sigh.

Anyway enjoy this wonderful piece. Good night.

S.E.N.S. | 君に届け: Reaching You

Friday, July 23, 2010
And I thought that I will be gone for a little bit longer, haha...I guess I couldn't just help to share something again to you guys, because I assure you'll also definitely love this one! But first,I  really want to name the title of this post the part three of Heartwarming Sounds but I can't ignore not making the artists of these music be acknowledged because of course I'm a huge fan of them although I think this is my first time making an actual post about them.

S.E.N.S. which stands for 'Sound, Earth, Nature & Spirit' is actually a group of instrumental artists in Japan that was formed around 1988. They compose and make beautiful and wonderful music for TV dramas, movies and Anime.

Actually, I've been watching recently the Anime version of one of the Manga I love it's entitled 'Kimi Ni Todoke' meaning 'From Me To You' or 'Reaching You' (doesn't that sound somehow romantic?) and of course I immediately fell in love with the soundtrack too but never did I know that it was S.E.N.S. the one that made the project soundtrack of the Anime. So to share you a bit about the story, Sawako Kuronuma, called Sadako by her classmates for her resemblance to the character from The Ring, has always been feared and misunderstood because of her appearance. There are rumors that Sawako can see ghosts and curse people. However, despite her appearances, she is a sweet and timid girl who longs to be able to make friends with everyone and be liked by everyone else. When her idol, popular boy Kazehaya, begins talking with her, everything changes. She finds herself in a new world, trying to make friends and talking to different people and she can't thank Kazehaya enough for giving her these opportunities. Slowly, but surely, a sweet love is blossoming between the two as they will overtake any circumstance or clear obstacles in their way. (Source: Wikipedia)

For more music by S.E.N.S. visit New Age Paradise,Shiho pretty much have their albums in his site so I think you can listen more from them all you want.

ToR+ Saksit Vejsupaporn | Piano & I PART II

Another thing to share again with you guys. As you've notice, this following days, I've been posting more and more about soundtrack instrumentals, I feel a bit bad about it because you might think that I've been focusing more lately about OSTs which is not the only content of this blog so I hope this post would be an ice breaker.

So we are back again with Tor, if you aren't a long time visitor of this blog, actually, Tor is one of my very personal favorite pianist along with Yiruma because my very first entry in this blog is actually about him so I'm really treasuring the fact that this guy is special, not only his skills in piano are great but also he has a face to make me his ever loyal fan. LOL. So here is actually Tor's second sequel of Piano & I, it was actually released 3 years after the first part but it's worth it anyway because this album has something to look forward to it plus it also contains 3 bonus tracks that comes along with him singing on it, what more can you expect? and I personally adore this album, it's full of emotions, love, and it's charming just the things I expect from Tor's pleasant style in music so I hope you enjoy this.

Transcend With Time - A Haunting Presence (2009)

Howdy! I hope you have liked my previous post. Tonight, I have another surprise to you, so here it goes, (excited) since yesterday, I've been exchanging emails with Mark M. aka Transcend with Time and I actually asked him if he could give me a copy of some of the tracks of the album, A Haunting Presence, as a sample mp3s to be posted in the blog and he actually agreed to it. I'm really excited to it because I can finally let you listen and experience the things I've been saying about his style in music in my previous post so I hope these teaser tracks would encourage you to buy the album, it would really mean a great support for the artist.

P.S. Thanks Mark for sharing me the music!

[PROMOTION] Transcend with Time | A Haunting Presence

Thursday, July 15, 2010
I've been promoting music by various famous artists already at my site irregardless if they know it or not but this will be my first time promoting someone because I was been offered to. Please don't think that I'm being force on this because on the contrary I'm really happy with the thought of it or rather excited about it. I'm not as much of a reviewer or a music critic myself but I say what I want to say and express my thoughts the way I want it to be so I hope you bear with me.

Transcend With Time is actually a one-man band by Mark Mendieta from Brownsville, Texas. His music is more categorized to be as New Age and Ambient. He started this project on 2006 and has released 4 albums since then; A Voice of Calmness (2006), Reflections of the Sould (2007), Through Memory's Perception (2008) and his latest A Haunting Presence (2009). As  much as we mostly hear from New Age music, his has a slight different touch of it because he focuses on another kind of feeling or rather an atmosphere that we often feel when we listen to in this genre, that is, his latest album concentrate more on eerie and mysterious ambiance which nonetheless make it a quite unique album itself.

IF YOU WANT TO SAMPLE AND BUY THIS ALBUM, Click Me!

It's also available at Amazon, ITunes, Midawn, Melodic Revolution Records.

Heartwarming Sounds [Part II]

Wednesday, July 14, 2010

I seem to be posting more soundtrack instrumentals recently but I hope you don't mind because today's post is again another one.

I haven't yet watched the movie but I was told that the soundtrack is nice and cute that's why I couldn't resist to look for it and post it and oh, it was Carmz, my friend that told me about this. The movie is entitled Naked Kitchen, it's again a Korean Movie. I presume that you kinda had the idea what the movie is all about but frankly speaking I don't mind that though, what I mind is the theme song of the movie because when I watch it at YouTube, I couldn't fend to download it right away...why? because the instrumentals & vocals are so cute, I mean warm + cute, now I'm being fuzzy but withal it's a great soundtrack to listen to, so hope you like it!

Bonus track: Naked Kitchen Theme Song

P.S. I know, the titles of the tracks are rather unusual.

Heartrending Melodies [Part I]

Tuesday, July 13, 2010

"Sometimes, even if you have everything in the world a human could wish for there will always be things in life that money can never buy, it may value a million diamonds but this kind of thing is priceless only you have to see it's own worth. "

I just made that line up you know but that's actually how I feel when I have watched this movie years ago, it's entitled A Millionaire's First Love. It's not really the greatest heartrending love story in the world but I like the meaning the movie itself gives.

And so, here's a soundtrack from the movie itself, I should have posted this before but I got the folder mixed up with my files but thanks for my friend Carmz, I was reminded yesterday so please enjoy the soundtrack! =)

Some Endings That I'll Never Forget

Sunday, July 11, 2010

Yesterday, I finished reading a manga, it's entitled Fruits Basket. I have watch actually the Anime version years ago but somehow I wasn't satisfied with how it end in the Anime so I decided to read the Manga version and I'm glad I did. It was a great ending, really, but somehow I kinda feel depressed about it, it's not because I wasn't satisfied with how it end but rather I feel sad because the story already finished. It was one of Anime & Manga that I've truly love watching and now that I've read and reach the ending of the story, I feel a little bit sad.

Hehe, I'm sorry for talking to much about it here but I just want to share my thought, I guess I'm really weak with 'endings'. Anyway, I want to share something to you guys, it's actually an piano instrumental of the Anime. I was listening to it yesterday after I finished reading the Manga till I fell asleep, I just had to urge listening to it all over again while thinking the whole story. Sigh, it was really a great story. So I hope you listened to it also, it's truly a great sound so I hope you enjoy it also. Good night :)

Elements Series: The Air

Saturday, July 10, 2010

Now this will be my first time introducing you this guy and his work. Peter Kater is a pianist, composer and producer and has even won many Grammy Awards. He was one of the few people who had spear-headed the introduction of the new genre of music in the world that we now know as New Age. His music had influenced and been used by many TV Series, Documentary Shows, Broadway and Movies since 1990s and even now. He has also composed and collaborated with the Native Americans in making more great instrumental music and indeed this contribution of his is a big thing the world of New Age Music.

Elements Series: Air

So, I give you The Air tracks from his Elements Series album. It's a tracks full of relaxing melodies that I'm sure that will soothes you all so I hope you enjoy this heavenly sounds. Good day!

The Music Box On Live365.Com

Wednesday, July 7, 2010

Now here's a great news for everyone, you can now listen to The Music Box on Radio Broadcast Online!

A few months ago, I was contacted by one of the stuff of Live365.com about promoting and sharing New Age Music to the world by making my own broadcasting station, I was at awe at first since never did I expect that I could get an offer like this, me, making my blog into a radio station? Am I dreaming?!!!... So after doing some thinking I was able to fully grasp that offer and accept it but I was a bit hesitant that I might not be able to meet their expectation, the listeners expectations but on the other hand it was also an opportunity for this blog, sharing and promoting the kind of music I've always been introducing to you so I decided to give it a try.

Live365.Com is actually the largest Internet radio network in the world with thousand of stations and millions of listeners a month. They work and cooperate with organizations and individuals, like me, to help in offering and promoting music from various genres. It's actually cool to be offered with an opportunity like this, hehe :D

So please feel free to try and listen to my broadcast, I appreciate the rating and comment!

The Sad Movie

Saturday, July 3, 2010
Sad Movie | Korean Movie

It's the title of one of my favorite Korean films of all time, this movie really damaged my tear ducts you know and if you ever watch it yourself maybe you would totally agree with me.
Sad Movie is actually a story about four relationships and their trials, pains, loss, letting go, separations, and moving forward but it really is a tear-jerker movie because though the title of the movie already suggested it's ending watching it leaves you many unfinished thoughts in your mind, nonetheless it's a great movie so I totally suggest that you watch it yourself. If you want to watch the movie itself, click here.
Sad Movie
Dream (guitar)
 Dream (piano)
Fly

So here's some of the instrumental soundtracks of the movie, I hope you enjoy and like it! This soundtrack somehow is really warm and charming though the movie title gives a rather opposite meaning to it.
